So...I got locked out of my other account and decided - what the heck, open a new one.
Why this sudden motivation you may ask? Well, my friend Joy tweeted an article where I am mentioned as an Editor To Follow, among others. Nice, no? Although the other editors are pretty impressive (I am not worthy).
Anyhoo, this is me poking my head out of the sand (Quick, before the hyena comes!) and just saying -

And to give you a bit of an update on all things Timi.
Sort of.
I write TV now. Tinsel to be specific. And I know I'm supposed to be blase and act cool but I'm having a great time. It's a lot of fun. tight deadlines (you know I like those) and a fabulous learning curve.
Plus money. Money is always nice.
I still read a lot. It's pretty much a compulsion now. Heck, it was pretty much a compulsion all along. I assumed with Baby Z, I wouldn't read as much but nope, over 100 books this year. I'm happy with that.
Baby Z is almost 9 months old. He's crawling and standing for a few seconds, and has now been renamed - The Mighty One.
The Goo is growing up. Still only 4, but still...my little baby's growing up.
Papa Goo is Papa Goo. He's got a show on the air. Dowry. DSTV Channel 165 EbonyLife TV. Fridays @ 8.30pm.
Oh, A Handful of Dust is out. An anthology that I contributed to. That's pretty exciting.
Working on another. Slowly. Because The Mighty One is often in Destructo Mode. So..yeah...
That's pretty much my life right now.
My cup runneth over.
Sounds like you have a lot on your plate...in a good way (because, as someone who loves food, full plates are always a good thing) :-D More grease to your elbow, to the glory of God!!!

DeleteYaaaaaaaay! I like this new one better and I'm glad you're doing work you love. All those books tho! How do you make the time with 2 children plus work? I'm reading a book and half each month now :(
ReplyDeleteIt's pink! Everything looks better when it's pink. Reading is my happy place. How do I do it? I am seriously sleep deprived. But The Mighty One starts Playgroup soon so Yay!
